From Resonance to Reality: The Journey of Guzheng Kultura

In Sep 2023, co-founder Carmen, together with guzheng performer Mingjie, took part in the 19th edition of the Crossroads of Cultures Festival (19. Festiwal Skrzyżowanie Kultur) in Warsaw. Their guzheng duet captivated the audience, sparking deep curiosity and heartfelt interaction among Polish spectators.

Inspired by the resonance of that moment, both artists became determined to share the beauty of Chinese classical instruments with a wider international audience.

In February 2024, Carmen established a Chinese teahouse in Mokotów. The teahouse not only offers authentic Chinese teas, tea sets, and handcrafted ceramics, but also gradually evolved into a cultural hub. Here, Chinese university music professors, traditional instrument performers, and enthusiasts are regularly invited to host intimate concerts and musical gatherings.

In 2025, this vision gave rise to Guzheng Kultura Sp. z o.o.

We are committed to promoting traditional Chinese instruments through international performances, touring concerts, and cultural exchange programs—amplifying the timeless voice of China across Europe.
